Niemi will get the start on Wednesday night against the Wild, ESPN-AM 1000 in Chicago reports.

Recommendation:
Niemi is securely the number one goalie, but he has not recently performed well. This will be a big challenge for Niemi since it is the back side of back-to-back starts. He made 26 saves of the 30 shots in the 4-2 loss at St. Louis on Tuesday night. A good performance by Niemi against the Wild would go a long way to providing confidence for the team that he can do it in the playoffs.
