Chapman has defected from Cuba, ESPN.com reports. He left the Cuban team from a tournament in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He plans to fly to Miami on Thursday and sign with a major league club.

Recommendation:
Champman may be the top international pitching prospect in the world. He had a 5.68 ERA in 6.1 innings for Cuba in the WBC, but had pitches regularly hit 100 mph. In keeper leagues, he's someone to grab asap if your rules allow it.
