Marshall, who also won the award last year, was named Major League Soccer's Defensive Player of the Year on Thursday.

Recommendation:
Kind of ironic that on the day Marshall, of the Columbus Crew, wins the defensive player of the year award is the same day they get tossed out of the playoffs after giving up four goals to a Real Salt Lake squad that isn't known for their offense.
