Update:
Boyle (upper body) accompanied his teammates on a flight to St. Louis ahead of Thursday's game against the Blues, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Recommendation:
There is still no official word on his status for Thursday's game, but the fact that he traveled with the team is a good indication that he is very close to rejoining the lineup. Also note that Derek Joslin has been returned to Worcester of the AHL, possibly paving the way for a Boyle return.
