ESPN.com has confirmed that IndyCar Series driver Patrick is talking with JR Motorsports and Michael Waltrip Racing about running a limited schedule of about eight Nationwide Series races plus a few Truck and maybe ARCA events in 2010.

Recommendation:
The NASCAR schedule for Patrick is coming into focus. It looks like she will split time between MWR and JR Motorsports and drive a part-time schedule in multiple series. 2010 could be seen as Patrick's stock car racing audition. Whether she makes the complete jump from IRL to NASCAR could depend on how she performs in these races next season.
