Patrick has a rough idea of what her NASCAR schedule would look like, and which series she will race in, but she still doesn't have a NASCAR deal in place, the Associated Press reports.

Recommendation:
"We've been working this and talking to people since summer," Patrick said. "We are serious about this. Whether it comes together or not, we won't know. But there's no contract and there's no deal right now." The deal is proving to be a complex situation. Sponsorship and schedule are likely the two biggest factors that are dragging this deal out. Patrick looks very likely to race in some capacity in NASCAR in 2010, it's just going to take some time to resolve the contract issues.
