Update:
Cunningham, coming off a career year with FC Dallas, got the well-deserved selection to the US national team that he's been waiting for.

Recommendation:
It's a great chance for Cunningham, who now has a dark horse chance to make the squad that goes to South Africa. He is one of few strikers in the US program that mixes pace with finesse. He could partially fill the role left by Charlie Davies' absence.
