Gordon won the pole for the Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday. He turned a fast lap of 191.117 mph.

Recommendation:
Gordon captured his first pole of the season and the 68th of his career on Friday at TMS. He won the Samsung 500 here in April and should contend for the win again on Sunday afternoon.
