Bosingwa (knee) and Chelsea's worst fears have come to be as the Portugese defender has been ruled out for up to three months after it was determined that he needs surgery according to Sky Sports.

Recommendation:
It's a big blow for Chelsea, as Bosingwa features to miss the meat of the Blues' Champions League schedule. Luckily it won't jeopardize his World Cup prospects should Portugal qualify. Ashley Cole's return should ease the blow of Bosingwa's injury, and surely they'll be OK.
