Update:
Reyes underwent surgery Thursday to clean up scar tissue around the torn hamstring tendon behind his right knee, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Recommendation:
Reyes is expected to begin rehab soon and resume baseball activities shortly after Jan. 1, meaning he should be on track to be ready for spring training. He will not need surgery to repair his torn right hamstring, which he injured while rehabbing in late September.
