Update:
Lehtonen underwent a second back surgery and will miss another six-to-eight weeks, the Associated Press reports.

Recommendation:
On the bright side for the Thrashers, they don't have to make any decisions regarding a potential demotion of Ondrej Pavelec to a backup role or even to Chicago (AHL) at this time. This is just the latest in a long line of injury issues for the once promising Lehtonen. If he's healthy again during the second half of the season, it's looking more and more like he'll be sharing the workload with Pavelec.
