Though Savard reported no pain in his left foot after his skating session Thursday, he will most likely not be available until Monday against St. Louis or Wednesday against Minnesota, the Boston Globe reports.

Recommendation:
Savard is just days away from having the protective boot removed from his foot and the last thing the B's want is for him to suffer a setback like a pulled muscle, which could occur if he rushes back. "The last thing you need is a groin injury and a guy out for two weeks after we’ve been waiting a month for him," said coach Claude Julien. "It’s not cautious. It’s just smart." The good news here, is that there seems to be no worry about Savard's foot, so it looks like we will see him some time next week.
