Reports have strongly linked Owen with a transfer to Manchester United to fill the role vacated by Carlos Tevez.

Recommendation:
Ironically, the injury-prone forward might be a perfect fit for United. With Dimitar Berbatov and Wayne Rooney the standard pairing up front, Owen could have plenty of rest to stay clear of injury, yet relieve the traditional set as needed.
