Montario Hardesty: ACL Tear Lands Him on IR -  9/3/2010 1:45:12 PM

Hardesty has been placed on IR by the Browns due to the torn left ACL he sustained Thursday, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Recommendation:
Hardesty, who also suffered a torn right ACL as a freshman at Tennessee in 2005, is now slated for surgery to repair his left knee. As a result of his injury, Jerome Harrison figures to be solidified as the Browns' starter at running back, with Peyton Hillis and James Davis also in the mix for carries.
