Onyewu tore a tendon in his left knee late on in the United States' 2-2 draw with Costa Rica on Wednesday night reports TSN.ca.

Recommendation:
Coach Bob Bradley decided to go with, and stay with, his a-team despite the game being relatively meaningless and bad weather in D.C. It's extremely early, but, estimates are that Gooch won't be ready until April or May, meaning his AC Milan will be without his services the rest of the season.
