Update:
After leaving Friday's start due to a sore left hamstring, Oswalt acted as if nothing was wrong and said he didn't even know the team was planning to send him to Houston for further examination, the Associated Press reports.

Recommendation:
"I didn't feel anything," Oswalt said. "The hammy got a little tight toward the end, but I told them I could go a couple innings more. But it's spring training. It's nothing major. If I needed to pitch seven, I think I could have gotten through it. There's no pain." This initially looked like it could have been serious, but Oswalt's comments ease that fear considerably.
