Talks about Larsson's contract with Birmingham City have not yet started, but Larsson maintains that he wishes to stay with the club in the future.

Recommendation:
There was a five-year contract on the table prior to Birmingham's takeover, but that is now in the wings as Larsson awaits the beginning of discussions with the team's new management.
