California: Shane Vereen to Take Over in Best's Absence -  11/12/2009 10:09:24 AM

Update:
Vereen will take over as California's starting running back with Jahvid Best (concussion) out indefinitely.

Recommendation:
Vereen certainly won't have an easy matchup in his first game as the primary back considering California's Week 11 opponent, Arizona, is ranked 11th in the nation in rushing. Still, Vereen has had success both this year and last and should provide decent production running through the same holes Best did.
