Gerrard could see the bench or even a start Monday against Birmingham City despite his groin injury, according to Sky Sports.

Recommendation:
Liverpool is really short staffed due to injuries, and Gerrard has lost some of his fitness and sharpness due to the injury. Despite these issues, Benitez said if Gerrard was available he would try to use him in some way.
