Update:
Rooney has already said that he will be at Manchester United for many more years unless they don't want him. His current contract has two more years on it following this season, but that won't stop them negotiating a newer one for a longer term.

Recommendation:
Rooney has been a target of Barcelona, and Real Madrid has been rumored to be interested as well, but don't expect any surprises.
