Harrison (hand) is available for Sunday's Grapefruit League game against the Pirates, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Harrison was only sidelined for a couple of days with the hand injury, and though he won't start Sunday, he'll likely enter the outfield mix at some point later in the contest. The 24-year-old is expected to open 2017 at the Double-A level.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

Harrison, the 50th overall pick in the 2011 draft, put up a solid, if not spectacular, season at Low-A by hitting .253/.366/.416 with 15 home runs. He struck out 125 times, so he'll need to make better contact to thrive at higher levels. It's also not clear if his glove is good enough to stick at third base. However, he did draw walks in a robust 12.7 percent of his plate appearances. If he can reduce his strikeouts at High-A this season, he could be knocking on the door of the majors in 2015.
Harrison, the 50th overall pick in the 2011 draft, had a strong professional debut by hitting .301/.383/.461 in 60 games with the rookie Elizabethton Twins. He struck out 51 times, so he'll need to make better contact. However, he still drew walks in 10 percent of place appearances and had good power at age 19. It's not clear if has the defense to stick at third base, but his bat could make him an intriguing keeper pick.
A Minnesota first-round pick in the 2011 draft (50th overall) out of high school in Southern California turned down a scholarship to USC to sign with Minnesota. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound prospect has tantalizing power, once hitting a 503-foot home run at Tropicana Field. It sounds unlikely he'll stay at third base, but his bat may be strong enough at first base. He'll begin next season in rookie ball in Fort Myers and brought along slowly.
