Past Fantasy Outlooks
2004
2003
Callaway fit the strict qualifications of being a biped homo sapien when Texas was looking for rotation help last summer. Last we checked, he still had two legs and will therefore get a look in spring training to fill a rotation spot.
Callaway was a spot starter in 2002, going 2-1 with a 4.19 ERA in six starts. It will be tough for him to get a crack at the starting rotation this season, meaning he is likely a candidate for the minors or as a long reliever and spot starter out of the bullpen.
