Tyson Brummett

ANALYSIS
Brummett started the year with Triple-A Buffalo but was demoted after getting smacked around in his first appearance of the season. He posted a 6.00 ERA in seven starts for Double-A New Hampshire and hasn't fared any better since moving to the bullpen. His K/9 (8.32), BB/9 (3.61), and HR/9 (0.78) numbers are all solid, but a miserable 59.5 percent strand rate has been his undoing. At 28 years old and with just one game of big league experience, Brummett doesn't appear to be headed anywhere fast, even if his poor results this season are partially a fluke.
