Parque came back much, much too quickly from off-season shoulder surgery and didn't have the usual zip on his fastball. Given that his “usual zip” topped out in the high 80s to begin with, Parque went from being a marginal major leaguer to a marginal Triple-A pitcher in a hurry. He might be back with the Sox, or he might not, but he won't be a fantasy factor any time soon.
