Past Fantasy Outlooks
2004
2003
Quevedo will be looking for employment after failing miserably with the Brewers. His high strikeout rate in 2001 had fantasy leaguers hoping for more the last two years, but that year appears to be more of an aberration now.
Quevedo had a promising start to 2002 and then fell apart before being demoted. The knocks on Quevedo are his weight problem and his lack of a fastball. When he's pitching well he gets hitters out with a combination of off-speed stuff and a lukewarm 88 MPH fastball. He'll probably be given another chance to win a spot in the rotation this spring.
