Past Fantasy Outlooks
2005
2004
2003
He's off to Japan to follow the Cecil Fielder path to major league stardom, or at least the Lee Stevens path to major league regular joe-dom.
Strikeouts (132 of 'em) probably kept him from getting a look in 2003, but Pascucci is ready for his shot at the big leagues. It might take Terrmel Sledge or Juan Rivera faltering for him to get it with Montreal, however.
Pascucci will be 24 next year, so his struggles at the plate in Double-A aren't a huge concern. Still drew walks and hit taters, which means his chances of someday playing for a team run by one of the Alderson cabal are very, very good.
