Josh Tobias

Tobias was the Phillies' 10th round pick in the 2015 draft out of the University of Florida. He was named short-season Williamsport's' MVP after hitting .321/.362/.475 with four home runs and 12 stolen bases in 240 at-bats. Tobias was 22 years old last season and coming from a college program, so we should expect him to perform well against very green prospects. How he performs this season when the Phillies presumably challenge him at Low-A Lakewood or High-A Clearwater should give us a better read on his prospect status. He is worth keeping an eye on as he could move quickly through the minors if he keeps hitting.
