Lindblom took the loss Monday after allowing four runs in 4.2 innings to the Athletics. The Rangers then optioned him to Triple-A Round Rock, MLB.com reports.

Josh Fields (3B)  PHI - AAA
Fields could be on his way to Miami to join up with the Phillies, Jeff Schuler of the Morning Call reports. The corresponding roster move could be Ryan Howard being placed on the disabled list.

Andrew Brown (OF)  NY-N - AAA
Brown is currently dealing with an oblique strain, ESPN New York's Adam Rubin reports.

Gordon Beckham (2B)  CHI-A - AAA
Beckham (wrist) may be able to return to the White Sox's lineup this coming weekend, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Neftali Soto (1B)  CIN - AAA
The Reds optioned Soto to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

Matt Magill (P)  LA - AAA
The Dodgers optioned Magill to Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday, Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times reports.

Derek Lowe (P)  TEX - AAA
Lowe was designated for assignment Monday, the Rangers' Executive Vice President of Communications reports.

Christian Walker (OF)  BAL - A+
Walker has hit .286/.324/.429 in eight games since his promotion to High-A Frederick.

Cody Anderson (P)  CLE - A+
Anderson continued his strong run at High-A Carolina with 6.1 scoreless innings on Sunday.

Jordan Smith (OF)  CLE - A+
Smith went 3-for-4 with two runs and a triple for High-A Carolina.

Jose De La Torre (P)  BOS - AAA
De La Torre was sent down to Triple-A Pawtucket following Sunday's win over Minnesota.

Cutter Dykstra (2B)  WAS - A+
Dykstra is hitting .268/.368/.326 at High-A Potomac this season.

Chris Resop (P)  OAK - AAA
Resop has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Sacramento.

Sam Selman (P)  KC - A+
Selman worked five innings, giving up just one run on three hits while striking out six on Sunday for High-A Wilmington.

Kyle Simon (P)  PHI - AA
Double-A Reading manager Dusty Wathan said some of Simon's difficulties this season are due to the slider he is working on developing, CSNPhilly.com reports. “The slider is still a work in progress,” Wathan said. “We force him to throw it. He’s going to have to end up throwing it. If we lose a game because of it, so be it. If we get to watch him in a couple years strike guys out in Philadelphia with that slider, then it'll all be worth it.”

Johnny Giavotella (2B)  KC - AAA
Giavotella has played the last three games at third base for Triple-A Omaha but is just 1-for-12 in that span.

Pedro Hernandez (P)  MIN - AAA
Hernandez was sent down to Triple-A Rochester on Monday.

David Aardsma (P)  NY-N - AAA
Aardsma agreed to a minor league contract with the Mets on Monday.

Orlando Arcia (SS)  MIL - A
Arcia was 2-for-4 with a double for Low-A Wisconsin on Sunday.

Kole Calhoun (OF)  ANA - AAA
Calhoun (hand) was activated from the disabled list with Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday, the Angels' official website reports.

Archie Bradley (P)  AZ - AA
Bradley was strong again Saturday, scattering five hits over six innings in a victory over Double-A Pensacola. He allowed one earned run and posted a 5:2 K:BB ratio in the game.

Luke Putkonen (P)  DET - AAA
The Tigers recalled Putkonen from Triple-A Toledo following Sunday's loss to the Rangers, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Rene Rivera (C)  SD - AAA
Rivera, who ranks second in the Pacific Coast League this season with a .421 average, can file for free agency on June 15 if he is not on the Padres' 25-man roster at that time, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Evan Reed (P)  DET - AAA
The Tigers optioned Reed to Triple-A Toledo on Monday.

Danny Hultzen (P)  SEA - AAA
Hultzen (shoulder) has resumed playing catch, Ryan Divish of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
