He had a 5.04 ERA, 1.403 WHIP and a 96:50 K:BB ratio 159.0 innings, so the 2008 Cal League Pitcher of the Year’s outlook took a hit. He’ll be 25 years old this season, so he obviously can’t be written off, but Pucetas needs more seasoning in the minors before the Giants will consider him.
