Rodriguez, a Cuban defector, has pitched well at High-A Dunedin in each of the last two seasons but has struggled when moved up to Double-A. In two stints at Double-A, he's posted a 1.705 WHIP and a 6.18 ERA in 90.1 innings with a poor 1.13 K/BB ratio. He's already 25, and while some transition time should be expected it's hard to get excited about him so far.
