RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Levi Michael.

2013

Michael, the 30th overall pick in 2011, struggled at High-A Fort Myers where he hit just .246/.339/.311 with two home runs in 117 games. He at least drew walks (11 percent of plate appearances), but he otherwise had a disappointing season with a lack of power. It is far too early to call him a bust, but we would expect to have seen more from a 21-year-old out of college playing against younger competition.

2012

The Twins took Michael with the 30th overall pick in the 2011 draft out of the University of North Carolina. As a college shortstop with pop he could advance quickly in an organization devoid of middle infield talent.
