Hacker improved his strikeout rate at Double-A Trenton to a career-best 8.28 K/9IP after getting promoted from High-A Tampa in late May. Even though he made 26 starts between those two levels, his major league future would likely be in relief, given that he'll already be a 26-year-old on Opening Day. Look for Hacker to get a look at Triple-A to begin 2009, while a late-season callup once rosters expand in September isn't out of the question if he can hold his own at the next level.
