Link rode the Triple-A Albuquerque-to-Los Angeles train often in 2010, ultimately recording 8.2 unimpressive innings with the Dodgers and a 3.71 ERA in 60.2 innings with Albuquerque. He profiles as organizational depth and appears likely to open 2011 back in Albuquerque.
2010
The White Sox added Link to their 40-man roster prior to the 2009 season, but he spent the whole summer in the bullpen at Triple-A Charlotte. He posted a solid 10.5 K/9IP, a number identical to his Double-A average from a year before. Unfortunately, his 4.3 BB/9IP also remained constant. He may factor into the bullpen mix in spring training, but the strikeouts will likely come at the expense of a high WHIP.
