2010
After battling some elbow problems in 2008, Bleich stayed healthy through 144.1 innings between High-A Tampa and Double-A Trenton last year. Though he possesses only mediocre stuff, he’s an intelligent pitcher who knows how to generate strikeouts, fanning 60 batters in 65 Double-A innings. His command needs refinement, but the 22-year-old still projects as a low-end starter once he reaches the bigs.
