2012
Stohr is a powerful right-handed bullpen prospect. His fastball reaches 97 mph with movement, and he sports a solid slider. As with many young pitchers, Stohr's main problem at this stage of his development is his control -- he had a 27:17 K:BB ratio in 20 appearances for Double-A Erie in 2011. Once he's able to command the strike zone better, Stohr should be a viable middle-relief option for the Tigers. Look for the 25-year-old righty to spend most of the 2012 season honing his skills in the higher levels of the minors.
