RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Ramon Ramirez.

2010

Ramirez has some value in that he can start or relieve. With minor-league options left, it's likely he begins the 2010 season in Triple-A.

2009

Ramirez emerged from the Reds' minor league ether to get a five-game major league audition in September, and posted numbers that were better than his minor league results. It's always risky to invest too much in September stats, particularly when those are the only major league sample available for a given player. He'll compete for the Reds' fifth starter job in spring training - if he wins the job, keep your distance initially.
