2010
Wilkerson, 21, made the leap from Division II Augusta State, where he earned honors and re-wrote record books. He was able to keep his head above water moving on to stops at Short-Season Lowell and Low-A Greenville. Wilkerson is an aggressive swinger and really needs to learn some patience and wait on the ball. He's a bit too pull-happy, and needs to focus on hitting through the ball. Defensively, he can cover ground with a good arm, capable of playing center or right field.
