2012
McGuire made his pro debut last season after being selected 11th overall in the 2010 draft and signing late. He fared pretty well with a 3.02 ERA, 1.229 WHIP, 8.9 K/9IP in 21 starts across High-A Dunedin and Double-A New Hampshire. The 6-foot-6 righty can command four pitches, topped by a low-90s fastball, so it's not a surprise to see him hit the ground running. He'll start the season at Double-A and could move quickly.
2011
McGuire was the 11th overall pick in the June draft but didn't sign until August and will make his pro debut this season. He's a polished pitcher from an established program in Georgia Tech and is expected to move through the Jays system quickly.
