2011
The right-handed Reifer has risen through the ranks quickly and already appears to be ready for the majors and already boasts a strong fastball and slider. A 52:15 K:BB ratio in 54 innings with Double-A Springfield last year, combined with 17 saves, is a good sign that he can eventually supplant Ryan Franklin at the back of the St. Louis bullpen. He'll be given a chance to earn a role with the Cardinals this spring.
