2012
Wheeler missed a few months during the 2011 season with a knee injury. He hit .272/.377/.465 in 65 games for Double-A Huntsville after he returned. It's unlikely that he'll have much of a chance in the majors outside of a utility role given his limited defensive value at the middle-infield spots and the addition of Aramis Ramirez in free agency.
