Carson saw time between Double and Triple-A as well as the majors last season. He suffered a triceps strain the last week of the season but is expected to be ready for spring training. Carson, who uses a two-seam and four-seam fastball along with a middling slider, will get a chance this spring to fill a role as a lefty in the bullpen.
