RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Zach Jones.
Jones, a 2012 fourth-round draft pick, could put himself in position for a big league relief job in 2015 after posting a 1.85 ERA with 70:28 K:BB ratio in 48.2 innings for High-A Fort Myers. He did struggle in the AFL (12 ER in 6 IP) and his upside appears limited since at 24 he's old for his level and he's a reliever, but his 95-mph fastball could make him a factor in the majors shortly with a strong season at Double-A in 2014.
