Estalella has made a strong push this spring and might even beat out Javier Valentin as the Reds backup catcher. His power potential makes him a decent endgame pick for fantasy owners looking for a $1 catcher.
He'll be injury protection in the Diamondbacks' spring camp, and if Rob Hammock is healthy, he'll probably start the year at Triple-A.
Coming off of rotator cuff surgery, Estalella will be Charles Johnson's backup. J.D. Closser's rise through the ranks threatens Estalella's future in the franchise.
