RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Kevin Young.
Young's playing time will be sharply reduced by the Pirates' acquisition of Randall Simon. That will help Young's average - he just can't hit right-handers any more - and hurt everything else, as he'll be on the wrong side of a platoon and get just 200-250 at-bats.
