2013
There was no outlook written for Felix Heredia.
2006
Heredia, who was acquired in the 2004 offseason from the Yankees for Mike Stanton, pitched in just three games for the Mets before undergoing season-ending surgery on June 2 to repair a blood clot in his left shoulder. He received a buyout from New York, and regardless of where he ends up, will be suspended for the first 10 days of 2006 after testing positive for steroids.
2005
Heredia disappointed with wildness and an inability to challenge hitters almost every time he took the mound for the Yankees in 2004. With less pressure on the Mets, he'll try to rehabilitate his career.
2004
Heredia, who had opted out of his 2004 option to become a free agent, signed a two-year, $3.85 million deal to become one of NY's lefty set-up men. He had a 1.20 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in 12 appearances for the Yankees last season. In his career, he has held left-handed batters to a .222 batting average against (147-for-663).
2003
Doesn't post the numbers typical of the better lefty specialists out there. He's a free agent and won't be back with Toronto.
