2013
There was no outlook written for Aaron Small.
2007
Small came out of nowhere to win 10 games in 2005, but quickly boarded his return flight to obscurity at Triple-A Columbus after a horrible start to 2006. We may have seen the last of the 35-year-old, unless he lands job after a non-guaranteed invitation to spring training somewhere in February.
2006
Do you think he'll do that again? Small came out of absolutely nowhere to have an incredible 10-0 run in the Yankees rotation last year. Former Yankees pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre saw something he liked in Small, and it's possible that he's a Jamie Moyer-style late bloomer. The Yankees do have seven candidates for their 2006 rotation, but given the tenuous health of Jaret Wright and Carl Pavano, Small is worth a look.
2003
Career minor leaguer and middle reliever with minimal roto value.
