2013
There was no outlook written for Mark Johnson.
2004
Johnson signed with Milwaukee after a year spent in the Oakland chain. He's shown the ability to work the count and draw walks, though that's not a skill set the Brewers typically fawn over. Following the Richie Sexson trade, Johnson could end up as part of a platoon with Chad Moeller.
2003
Johnson never got a real chance to establish himself with a White Sox organization that maintained an unhealthy fascination with Josh Paul's stolen base totals, so now he moves on to Oakland. He won't suddenly turn into Scott Hatteberg or anything (at least he shouldn't...), but he should see decent at bats, get on base at an acceptable rate and be a generally solid major league backup catcher.
