2005
Ligtenberg had previously carved out a nice career posting 3.50 ERAs and a strikeout per inning, so his 2004 numbers are likely due to his hip injury. A healthy Ligtenberg could compete for saves in Toronto, especially with Miguel Batista back in the rotation.
2004
Ligtenberg was the first of probably two to three additions to the Blue Jays bullpen over the offseason. He'll probably serve in a setup capacity to Aquilino Lopez, although don't be surprised if the Jays opt to avoid traditional roles in the bullpen.
2003
Ligtenberg had another solid season as part of Atlanta's amazing veteran relief corps. He's a solid end-game buy.
