2005
De Los Santos had had some moderately effective seasons as a reliever previously, but a shoulder injury ended his 2004 in early June. Given the nature of the injury, he'll likely have to hope for a minor league contract with a spring training invite.
2004
De Los Santos has been dogged by shoulder problems in the past, including in 2003, forcing him to get off to a slow start. When healthy, he's been fairly reliable, however. He'll be the second left-hander out of the pen for the Blue Jays in 2004.
2003
De Los Santos finally started to live up to his potential and helped solidify the Brewers bullpen last year. He posted a 3.12 ERA in 57 2/3 innings of work while striking out 38. The Brewers should bring him back this spring and he will resume his role of a lefty setup man.
