2004

Roberts began last season as an integral part of the Orioles bullpen, which many thought would be the team's strength. It wasn't, and Roberts ineffectiveness was partly the reason. He has accepted a demotion to Triple-A Ottawa, where he may have to begin the season if he wants to remain with Baltimore.

2003

Roberts developed nicely as the Orioles right-handed setup man. He kept his ERA down below 2.00 most of the season before finishing at 3.36. He walked too many batters (32 in 75 IP), but only allowed five homers. He's an emotional sort and is best when he keeps that in check.
